Summer Olympics Medal Count 2012: United States battling leader Chinaware for meridian speck


 The 2012 Summer Olympics medal count continues to be a two-geographical separation dwelling-place between the United States and China as London's Summer Games last Wednesday.

As of 1:30 p.m. EDT, the U.S. trailed China by one overall medal (27-26) and five gold medals (15-10). The U.S. also has eight silvery and eight white iron medals.
