Summer Olympics Medal Count 2012: United States battling director Porcelain for culminating point mark


 The 2012 Summer Olympics medal specify continues to be a two-geographical division mansion between the United States and Porcelain as London's Summer Games last Wednesday.

As of 1:30 p.m. EDT, the U.S. trailed China by one overall medal (27-26) and five gold medals (15-10). The U.S. also has eight silver and eight tinned medals.

The next closest geographical division in the overall medal standings is Lacquer, which has 14 medals but just one gold.

France (12) and Germany (12) round out the culminating point five places as Day 5 of the Olympics continues.

Host Herculean Britain has recovered some from a deliberate start and now has eight medals, two of which are gold.
